Jazmine Harris, RN, MSN, AGACNP-BC
Jazmine Harris is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in renal disease and dialysis.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Research College of Nursing in 2020 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Rockhurst University Saint Luke’s College of Nursing. Prior to entering clinical practice, Jazmine worked in research and development, contributing to the advancement of rejection testing for post-transplant and immunocompromised patients—an experience that continues to influence her clinical perspective.
Jazmine brings with her a strong background in nephrology, having dedicated her entire healthcare career to the care of patients with kidney disease. She began her professional career with this population in 2019 as a renal and kidney transplant nurse aide, advancing to a registered nurse role in 2020. She continued in this capacity until 2025, when she transitioned into her current role as a nephrology nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests include chronic kidney disease progression, dialysis management, and patient education focused on improving long-term outcomes.
Her passion for nephrology is deeply personal. Jazmine was inspired by her experience helping care for her grandmother with CKD and ESRD requiring dialysis, as well as a strong family history of kidney disease. This foundation enables her to connect with patients on a meaningful level, fostering trust while helping them navigate complex treatment decisions.
A Kansas City native, Jazmine values time with her family above all else. She is the youngest of three siblings and enjoys life with her husband of and their children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with loved ones, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
