Cherie Nydegger, FNP-C
Cherie Nydegger is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in renal disease and dialysis.Cherie graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2013 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education by receiving her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Research School of Nursing in 2021.With over 13 years of clinical experience caring for critically ill patients and those with complex renal conditions, she brings a deep understanding of patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice to every setting. Six of those years were spent providing care for patients with heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and arrhythmic disorders and serving as the lead Clinical Research Coordinator for Cardiothoracic Surgery practice. Cherie is a member of the America Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nephrology of Nurses Association, and American Nursing Association.Outside of her clinical work, Cherie is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She and her husband enjoy boating and lakeside recreation, hiking in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and traveling to new destinations. She also cherishes family time with their two daughters and their spirited dog, Kenny Rogers.
