I have been a nurse practitioner for over 18 years. I have over 40 years of nephrology, dialysis and transplant experience. I provide education, counselling, and care to patients in all aspects of nephrology practice, including acute care, pre-dialysis CKD to modality options, outpatient dialysis, transplant, and end-of-life. I am a mentor/preceptor for new nurse practitioners, undergrad and graduate students. Currently I am working partially remotely with emphasis on value based care and outcomes, some telemedicine and transitional care post-acute. I am on the board of directors for American Nephrology Nurses Association. I have had multiple article and book chapters published on topics related to chronic kidney disease. I am married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
