Gretchen Casper, RN, MSN, AGACNP-BC
Gretchen Casper is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in renal disease and dialysis. Gretchen graduated from Rockhurst College and Research College of Nursing in 1997 with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and furthered her education by receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing, as an Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences in 2015. Gretchen has experience working with the renal population as she spent over nineteen years working as a critical care nurse in Saint Luke's Hospital's cardiovascular intensive care units. She worked one on one with our nephrologists treating renal patients and spent a semester during her master's training with Dr. Awad rounding on our inpatient renal patients. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care, American Nurses Association, and American Nephrology Nurses Association. Gretchen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and she is a breast cancer survivor.
