Emily Huxford, RN, MSN, FNP-C
Emily Huxford is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in renal disease and dialysis. Emily Huxford graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2012. She furthered her education at the University of Minnesota and obtained her Master of Public Health degree in 2015 with a focus on childhood obesity and environmental health. She continued to study at the University of Minnesota and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2016. In 2022 Emily completed her FNP program at Chamberlain University. She has over six years experience caring for acutely ill patients as a critical care nurse in the intensive care unit and the emergency department. She worked as a primary care nurse practitioner in Liberty, MO for one year prior to joining KCKC. Emily is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her hobbies include traveling, running, reading, and spending time with her husband, two children, and dog.
